Baccarat is far more than just a card game. At Plus88, you'll find high-quality live baccarat tables with professional dealers, HD video streaming, and a wide range of table variations to suit every level of player — from beginners to seasoned VIPs.
Baccarat is one of the most widely played casino games in Asia, and Malaysia is no exception. The game draws a strong following because of how straightforward it is — you simply bet on Player, Banker, or Tie — yet it still delivers real excitement and tension with every round. Unlike poker, which demands deep strategic thinking, or blackjack, which involves a series of technical decisions, baccarat lets anyone sit down and play with confidence.
At Plus88, we take the baccarat experience to a whole new level. Our platform offers more than 20 active baccarat tables at any time — from standard tables with low minimum bets suited to new players, all the way to exclusive VIP tables with bet limits of up to RM50,000 per hand for Diamond members. Every table is run by trained dealers in an internationally standard studio environment.
One thing Malaysian players consistently love about Plus88 is the speed of play. There's no drawn-out waiting between rounds — each baccarat round on our platform completes in just 30 to 45 seconds, meaning you can play significantly more hands in less time compared to a physical casino. That matters a lot for players looking to make the most of every session.
Multiple baccarat variants to suit every playing style.
The most popular classic version at Plus88. Tables are open to all members with a minimum bet of RM5. Professional dealers, instant results, and an interface that's easy to navigate even if you're just starting out.
An exclusive table reserved for Plus88 VIP Gold, Platinum, and Diamond members. Betting limits up to RM50,000 per hand, private rooms, a dedicated dealer, and a more intimate, high-end playing experience.
A fast-paced variant built for players who love non-stop action. Each round wraps up in just 27 seconds — same rules, same odds, but with a much quicker and more thrilling rhythm.
A multi-table display lets you monitor and place bets across several baccarat tables simultaneously. Perfect for experienced players looking to multiply their winning opportunities.
Baccarat is easy to pick up. Follow these steps and you'll be ready to play in no time.
Choose a table that fits your budget. Place your bet on one of three options: Player, Banker, or Tie. You can also place side bets such as Player Pair or Banker Pair.
The dealer will deal two cards to the Player and two cards to the Banker. Card values are then counted — number cards are worth their face value, face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 0, and Aces are worth 1.
A hand's value is the last digit of the total card sum. For example, 7 + 8 = 15, so the value is 5. A hand worth 8 or 9 is called a "Natural" and wins immediately with no additional cards drawn.
Based on the value of the first two cards, fixed rules automatically determine whether the Player or Banker receives a third card. You don't need to make that decision yourself — it all happens according to set rules.
The hand closest to 9 wins. A winning Player bet pays 1:1, a winning Banker bet pays 0.95:1 (after a 5% commission), and a winning Tie bet pays 8:1.

Understand the true value of each bet type before playing at Plus88.
| Bet Types | Payout | House Edge | RTP | Recommendations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Banker | 0.95:1 | 1.06% | 98.94% | Best |
| Player | 1:1 | 1.24% | 98.76% | OK |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.36% | 85.64% | High Risk |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% | 89.64% | Side Bets |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% | 89.64% | Side Bets |
The RTP and house edge figures above are based on industry standards for eight-deck baccarat. The Banker bet consistently carries the lowest house edge, making it the statistically smartest choice.
No strategy guarantees a win, but there are smarter ways to play at Plus88.
Statistically, Banker wins more often than Player — approximately 45.8% versus 44.6%. Even with the 5% commission, Banker's low house edge of 1.06% makes it the most consistent choice over the long run.
Before you start playing, decide how much you're comfortable wagering. Split your budget into smaller units and never bet more than 5% of your bankroll on a single hand. This keeps you in the game longer and helps you stay composed throughout your session.
While the 8:1 payout looks attractive, the house edge on a Tie bet reaches 14.36% — far higher than Banker or Player. Experienced Plus88 players generally avoid the Tie bet, except occasionally for entertainment.
Bet the same amount on every hand without increasing or decreasing based on previous results. This approach reduces the risk of heavy losses in a single session and helps you maintain financial discipline throughout your play.
Every Plus88 baccarat table displays recent result history — Big Road, Bead Plate, and Big Eye Boy. While each round is independent, many experienced players use these patterns as a guide for their betting.
Set a profit target — for example, 30% of your starting bankroll. Once you hit it, step away and enjoy your winnings. Players who know when to quit consistently walk away better off in the long run.
What sets live baccarat at Plus88 apart from a standard RNG game is the real-time interaction with a live dealer. You can watch every dealer movement, every card dealt, and every outcome unfold right in front of you — no doubt, no question of fairness.
Our HD video stream delivers crisp, clear picture quality even on a moderate internet connection. The Plus88 platform automatically optimises video delivery based on your connection speed, so buffering and interruptions are rare. This is especially important when you're playing at a VIP table with high stakes on the line.
For Malaysian players who prefer gaming on the go, the Plus88 mobile app delivers the same full live baccarat experience as the desktop version. Play anywhere — at home, at the office during your lunch break, or at a mamak while waiting for your teh tarik. As long as you have an internet connection, a Plus88 baccarat table is always ready for you.
On top of that, Plus88 baccarat players enjoy an automatic daily rebate credited every morning with no manual claim needed. So even on days you don't win, you're still getting something back on your total wagers. It's one of the main reasons so many baccarat players keep coming back to Plus88.
